COVID-19 Update Alert Level 3.

What this means for you and your Mercedes-Benz.

Mercedes-Benz Auckland response on COVID-19.

In light of the latest COVID-19 development which will move us into Level 3, we will be operating within the strict health and safety guidelines outlined by the government. We would like to reassure you that we have done everything to prepare our businesses to operate safely again.

Under Alert Level 3, our Dealership is open and operating a contactless service across all Departments including vehicle presentations, demonstrations, vehicle trade in valuations, servicing, technical support and of course Parts requirements – our Team will be just a phone call, video chat or click away to assist you with your motoring needs.

Our showroom doors may be closed for now, but we would still love to see you even if our smiles are hidden behind protective masks. Please call us on 09 529 3888 upon your arrival at the Dealership for further instructions on our contactless services.

As the health and safety of our customers and staff remain our top priority, the following procedures are in place:

Contact Tracing – We will be digitally collecting contact details from all visitors to ensure that we comply with contact tracing guidelines. This includes the Government’s QR code poster to allow customers to register on the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 tracing app available at the front door. In addition, we require all visitors to scan our own “I’M HERE” QR code to ensure we can contact people without any delay, if necessary.

Sanitisation – All our customer-facing staff will keep their work areas sterilised as required and in addition to the daily sanitisation of all common areas and touchpoints carried out by our cleaners. Staff will wear gloves or sanitise their hands before accepting your keys or remotes. All touch-point surfaces within and around your vehicle will be sanitised after servicing. Please do not be offended if we ask you to sanitise your hands if handing over keys or using our Eftpos terminal.

PPE – Team members will continue to use approved Personal Protective Equipment.

Social Distancing – Staff and customers are required to maintain appropriate social distancing as per the government’s guidelines.

Loan Cars – Due to stringent health and safety procedures in place, and to further ensure the safety of our customers and staff, we won’t be able to offer loan cars during Alert Level 3.

Appointments – Please ensure you book an appointment before arriving at our Dealership. By doing so, you can help our efforts to follow social distancing guidelines. You can make your appointment by phone or email.

Contactless servicing and how it works:

• Upon arrival our Dealership doors will be closed but we are open and provide contactless servicing.

• To drop off your vehicle, simply park under the canopy by the main doors, and stay in your vehicle.

• We will call you on your mobile number provided and talk you through the next process. Please call us if you believe the team has not seen you arrive.

• You will need to sign-in using our electronic registers for COVID-19 contact tracing (see above). Please bring your smartphone to do this and follow the instructions provided. Please note that our “I’m Here” QR code will be accessed via your phone’s camera function.

We appreciate your patience, especially if your service booking has been affected or may have been changed by our team to accommodate the disruption caused by COVID-19 restrictions. We are doing our very best to minimise disruption and are here to help you at all times.
